Daily Challenge: Spelling Patterns

Warm up:

4 rounds:

10m bear crawl

5 burpees

30 second plank

Then, name 5 words that begin with “c”; 5 words that begin with “l”; and 5 words that end in “y”.

Focus:

Trace a figure 8 pattern 10 times with each hand.

WOD:

5 rounds

10 onearm dumbell snatches, each arm

10 walking lunges

1 minute plank

During the plank, think of as many words that have the following: (have a partner write down your list for you while you plank)

– 1st round: as many words that have the “–at” letter combination

– 2nd round: as many words that have the “–eigh–” letter combination

– 3rd round: as many words that have the “ch” letter combination

– 4th round: as many words that have the “th” letter combination

– 5th round: as many words that have the “ea” letter combination
