Daily Challenge: Remembering Numbers

By November 1, 2012wod

Today, we’ll practice remembering phone numbers. Get out your phone book!

Warm up:

3 rounds:

10m bear crawl

10 line hops

10 jumping jacks

10 burpees

then… using your own phone number, “chunk” the numbers to make them more memorable. For example, if your phone number is 265-3411, you can chunk it into: 26 (your age), 53 (your parents address), 411 (phone directory).

Focus:

Trace an X pattern on the wall, from the corner of the wall and ceiling, to the floor, ten times.

WOD:

5 rounds:

5 dumbell push press

5 dumbell front squats

15 jumping jacks

After each round, choose a random phone number from the phone book. Chunk the numbers and make it memorable.

At the end of the workout, recite the numbers.

Post WOD time and the number of phone numbers recalled to comments!
