Tabata Tantrums: Group Activity
Use the Tabata timer: 20 seconds on followed by 10 seconds off.
Have the group run, jump on things, swing, roll, scream, laugh, be as loud and crazy as they can for 20 seconds. Then, freeze and be silent for 10 seconds. Repeat 6-8 times.
This activity practices self regulation. It emphasizes the importance of knowing when to be calm and quiet and when it is permitted to be loud and busy.
